About this role

As a Senior QA Engineer at Eventtrips, you will take complete ownership of software quality and the entire testing process. We need your expertise to be able to build complete testing workflows from scratch. Your responsibilities include mostly automated tests, but also we need you to help define effective manual testing methods. You will lead the development and execution of test plans and cases, work in performance testing, and identify bugs and usability issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the best testing frameworks for the needs
• Define and write automated-, end-to-end-, regression-, and unit tests
• Define effective methodologies for the manual tests
• Work closely with the engineering team to figure out how best to deploy software safely

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in QA or a testing environment
• Ability to develop test strategy, design test plans, and test cases
• Knowledge of a test automation-capable programming language
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and software development principles
• Experience in developing end-to-end tests
• Experience in working with bug-tracking and test management systems
• Experience with Git
• English skills at the upper-intermediate or higher level
• You can break down complex problems rigorously and understand the tradeoffs necessary to deliver great, impactful products.
• You’re curious, you’re data-driven, you love to ask questions, and you think critically about problems.
• You love delivering value to your users and your teammates through your work.
